At Goodhew Dance, we aim to ensure every student is fully prepared for class, rehearsals, performances, and competitions. Having the correct dance attire and personal items not only helps students perform their best, but also keeps our groups looking professional, unified, and easily recognisable. Please review the requirements below carefully to make sure your child comes fully equipped each week.

SHOWGROUP JACKET

All students are required to have their own Goodhew Dance Jacket.

Worn to every performance and competition to cover costumes.

Helps the group be easily recognisable on stage.

PERSONAL ITEMS

Dancewear:

Clean jazz shoes – tan (black for seniors)

Tan tights – one pair & a spare

Dance underwear – including:

Dance underpants

Body stocking

Dance crop

Convertible bra

Clear straps

Make-Up Kit:

Red lipstick

False eyelashes – high school students only

Hair Kit:

Hair brush & tail comb

Elastics (same colour as hair)

Gel & hairspray.

JEWELRY POLICY

No jewellery should be worn to class or performances.

Leave watches, studs, friendship bands, etc. at home.

High school students only: costume diamante earrings are available at reception for performances.

Keep a small backup kit with spare tights, hair ties, and make-up for performances.

Label all personal items clearly.
